Students in project groups from various schools in Visayas together with their advisor-educator will be gathered in a one-day school fair type of conference

a) showcase their projects to the other fair participants and get voted for awards

b) pitch their projects for a chance to compete for funding and mentoring for three months for their project implementation

Top three projects will be awarded with seed money and mentoring for implementation and showcase for the next year.

Project proponents

Fleire Castro has made her mark in digital marketing, social entrepreneurship, and startup communities.  She owns Third Team Media, a social media and digital marketing agency based in Cebu, and has been in digital marketing for almost a decade.

Ms. Castro is also a co-founder of two startups namely bloodlife.ph, which connects donors with patients, and Project BASS, which collects and analyzes big data through volunteerism and crowdsourcing, as well as the Iligan Bloggers Society.

She mentored young entrepreneurs through the US Embassy’s Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative program, and also served as the Country Representative to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 in Nairoibi, Kenya hosted by former US President Barack Obama. She was recently sent to the USA as a Professional Fellow.

The Wicked Dreams was born out of a dream. And it is wicked-ly good!

Our wicked dream is to see a future where the Filipinos are given opportunities to help themselves and the society through digital and tech.

Wicked Dreams is a series of programs that will create an ecosystem where the youth and other Filipinos can be represented by creating innovative projects that can be implemented in their communities.

It is the project’s mission to ensure that youth have the capacity to help the society through innovations in digital media and technology that reflect the urgent needs that can be implemented in the society or their communities.
