Submission Instructions
1. Please produce a submission of your digital media project meeting below criteria and needs
Produced by team of not more than five individuals
Individuals in the team must be composed of youth ages 16-25 only
Must NOT be created/run/produced by professional videographers or photographers or an agency
Must qualify with any of the following themes and answer the question
- What social problems or issues do you see in your school / barangay / city / country? Examples include:
- Illiteracy, Poverty, Unemployment and Population Growth
- Child Abuse, Child Labour and Violence against Women
- Crime, Criminal, Criminology and Juvenile Delinquency
- Alcoholism, Drug Abuse and Corruption
- Others
Must bring awareness or solution to the problem using any or all of the following
- Create a website and promote online
- Run a hashtag campaign on social media
- Create a Facebook page and campaign
- Produce a video and promote online
- Run a contest or promotion online
- Create an app to bring awareness to the issue

All entries must follow and answer the 4-sections

- What is your proposed solution for this problem?
- What digital platforms did you or will you use for this campaign?
- What sample creatives have you produced (Links to Facebook page? Video? Website? App?)
- 4: [Impact] What is the impact of this campaign? (1-3 pages)
- How do you or did you plan to measure if your campaign is successful?
- Is the campaign working for the issue/community?
- What feedback have you received?
All entries will be reviewed by the organizers
Entries that qualify will be notified and invited to the fair to have a project booth that showcases their project at the event venue
Entries that qualify will be posted on the Facebook Page of the Wicked Dreams: Action Civics Fair
Entries for the pitching competition will be notified and invited for the pitching competition
2. Presentations on stage for the pitching competition will be judged according to the following rubric:
Addressing the Challenge
Did the team’s solution address their challenge in a clear and ambitious way?
Feasibility and Sustainability
Is the team’s solution big enough to make a difference but focused enough to be effective? Has the team articulated how their solution is sustainable?
Potential for Impact: Community Engagement
Did they engage community members? Did this team implement tactics to reach their target audience? Did they maximize the use of digital media to reach the intended audience?
Presentation Delivery:
Did they effectively communicate their passion, vision, and successes? Was their presentation compelling?
Creativity and Originality
Was the team’s solution creative and demonstrate original thinking? Did they think big or play it safe? Was the digital media used a good fit for the campaign?
Teamwork
Did the team appear to collaborate effectively within their team and with peers outside the team?
